A dinner at Le St. Tropez

Every time we visit the island of St. Croix, a special surprise awaits us!  This time it was our first visit to Le St. Tropez, a charming little bistro located on King Street in Frederiksted.  This place, located in a courtyard filled with trees and flowers, features delightful Mediterranean and French menu selections. There is also an excellent wine list, which your server will be most happy to help you with.

We visited on a Monday evening, one of the very few restaurants open that day.  We were fortunate to meet one of the French owners,  a delightful lady, who does her utmost to provide a delicious experience for her guests, and the service was wonderful during our candlelit dinner. Be sure to call ahead for a table, and plan to spend a leisurely lunch or dinner there, since the place is small and intimate, and perfection takes time.

Le St. Tropez is definitely on our list for lunch or dinner during all our future visits to St. Croix.  C'est magnifique!
