Shop "Butterflies Are Free"

Here’s a new, quaint little shop we discovered on our trip to St. Croix in November.  It’s called “Butterflies Are Free,” and it is located at 1 Strand Street in Christiansted.  History indicates that Alexander Hamilton once lived in this location.  We had a great time chatting with the owners, Aaron and Becky. 

The store features unique tee shirts, hand painted and appliquéd in the butterfly theme by Becky.  You definitely won’t see these available anywhere but in this cute shop. Each shirt has its own personality, which made the selection of one very difficult for me!  I was very tempted to buy more than one, since the price was very reasonable for an original work of art.  Also available is beaded jewelry, hand designed by Aaron. These pieces are very unique as well.  In addition, there is a nice selection of women’s one-of-a-kind designer clothing, and a selection of watches made on the island. 

Stop in when you’re there.  It’s worth the visit.
