From itsislandtime.com St. John I read on a few blogs about Sweet plantains and went there in April. This place serves authentic island food with "out of the world flavors." I really have never tasted anything so colorful. On my first vist I had the curried west indian shrimp. The sauce was fantastic and the food came with a very fragrant basmati rice. Since that visit I ate there 3 more times, ordering different things. Sweet plantains is a diamond in the rough if you ever visit the VI come to eat here, the music is even as good as the food, lol.
